Our sanctuary was built by the passion of people just like you. Join our team on the ground in Zimbabwe to provide daily care, enrichment, and a second chance for our 89 residents.
To protect the 89 animals currently in our care and ensure our doors stay open, we must raise $225,000 by December, 2026 to begin the purchase of our sanctuary land.

At Free to be Wild, we believe that conservation only truly succeeds when the next generation leads it. Our mission extends far beyond the sanctuary fences; we are building a culture of stewardship across Zimbabwe to ensure that humans and wildlife can thrive together.
A National Impact Our dedicated Education Center is a hub of discovery, welcoming over 14,000 students and 192 schools annually. By providing a safe, immersive environment, we turn fear into fascination and conflict into coexistence.
